CIDOC 2012: THE CULTURAL HERITAGE AND THE NEW INFORMATION SOCIETY

The conference focus on learning about the interactions between cultural heritage collections and the current information society

“Enriching Cultural Heritage” is the theme of the CIDOC 2012 Conference which is taking place in Helsinki (Finland) from next 10 June until 14 June. The meeting will highlight the possibilities that the new information society can offer to the cultural heritage’s management, the latest tools and the newest technologies.

The conference will address some of the most interesting and fashionable issues concerning cultural heritage under four core themes: Social Media, the contributions of multilingualism and regional cultures, the innovations of documentation and encouraging the interoperability of data resources…
