DISTRIBUTED GENERATION CONGRESS IN SPAIN

The II Distributed Generation Congress will be held on the next 17th and 18th June at Mapfre Conventions Center in Madrid (Spain).

Over two days, the meeting will attract participant from all power generation industry sector who will discuss about five core themes, distributed generation technologies and equipments, energy storage systems, spatial and environmental aspects, design and operation of micro-grids and regulatory issues.

The conference programme consists of a number of industry presentations, round tables, case study presentations and panel discussions, including relevant topics such as new smart energy systems for residential houses, cogeneration, district heating networks, solar home systems…

SUSTAINABILITY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN MADRID: GENERA AND CLIMATIZACION

The Energy and Environment International Trade Fair, GENERA 2013, is taking place in Madrid (Spain) from next 26 February to 28 February. Running along this meeting, from 26 February until 1 March, will be CLIMATIZACION, the International Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration Fair. Both events place the emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability.

GENERA is celebrating its 16th edition with a program that includes the Genera Forum, a wide range of Technical Workshops and the Innovation Gallery. The Genera forum will highlight the trending topics related to the field of renewable energy through a number of presentations given by companies in the sector. Participants will then have the opportunity of learn and discuss about the latest innovations and the newest products and services.

Attendees can also participate in the Technical Workshops covering issues such as the future of marine energies, co-generation and micro-cogeneration, hydrogen and fuel cells, perspectives of the biomass, small wind, wind energy’s challenges, the energy efficiency Directive, energy waste treatments, internationalisation of photovoltaic energy, among many others.

The Innovation Gallery will showcase 14 selected projects about environmental protection, energy efficiency and renewable energies: bioclimatic buildings, generation of renewable energy through environmental sustainability and recycling solutions providing economic saving plus less waste.
